  6. Hello all,
  7. I have seen several msgs requesting details on how to connect a TNC to
  8. the ALINCO DJ580 h/held,so heres how i did it !!!
  9. (after immense fiddling,these are the connections used for 6 months)

  34. so,the only connection to the 2.5mm plug is to the TIP!!!! tip=TX audio
  35. TX is to tip via 10k resistor. "sleeve & ring" NO CONNECTIONS

  37. RX audio=TIP of 3.5mm,sleeve NO CONNECTION,body=gnd

  40. don't forget- DO NOT insert/remove plugs while the rig or tnc is on !!
